The 4th Shopping Festival, organized by the Empathy Social Responsibility and Education Association in order to support educational projects and scholarship funds, was held at Teymur Continental Hotel on 14-15 December.
Attended by Deputy Prime Minister Mehmet Şimşek, Gaziantep Governor Ali Yerlikaya, Gaziantep Provincial Police Director Erhan Gülveren, Gaziantep Chamber of Industry Chairman Adil Konukoğlu, Iconova Board Members Mesut Acar and Esad Şireci, Empathy Social Responsibility and Education Association Chairwoman Zeynep Konukoğlu and board members, the shopping festival started with the ribbon-cutting ceremony and a minute of silence in memory of the great leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, his brothers in arms and holy martyrs and sang the National Anthem. After the opening ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Mehmet Şimşek and the accompanying delegation visited the companies participating in the shopping festival.
In her opening speech, Empathy Social Responsibility and Education Association Chairwoman Zeynep Konukoğlu stated that we will overcome these difficult days as a country in unity and solidarity and the income raised from the festival will be both spent on social responsibility projects and donated to the families of martyrs.
