We held our first activity in the 6th term of Empathy Social Responsibility and Education Association and hosted the ‘Welcome Spring’ breakfast at Gaziantep Culinary Arts Center.
‘Welcome Spring’ breakfast was attended by Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Fatma Şahin, esteemed members of the protocol, Figen Ekiyor, Esra Karaduman, Seval Fadıoğlu, Dilek Topçuoğlu, Ülgen Konukoğlu, Mine Özmen, Müzeyyen İşsever, 6th term board members, association members and philanthropists.
Speaking at the breakfast, 6th term Chairwoman Hale Konukoğlu stated that as 6th term Board of Directors they will be undertaking many projects in the name of education in order to raise the flag they took over from the previous term. She said that approximately 2,200 students are currently studying in Şehitkamil and Şahinbey Empathy Primary Schools founded with the projects carried out since 2009. Konukoğlu thanked all the protocol members and education lovers for their support, especially Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Fatma Şahin, who has supported them in all their projects so far. Hale Konukoğlu concluded her speech by giving the good news that they will be hosting Sertab Erener, one of the most powerful singing voices in Türkiye, in Gaziantep for a concert, the income of which will be used for education.
Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Fatma Şahin thanked the Empathy Social Responsibility and Education Association for their efforts in the name of education and said the Metropolitan Municipality will keep on supporting educational projects in the future.
Chairwoman Hale Konukoğlu presented Fatma Şahin with a beautiful bouquet to show their appreciation and the breakfast continued with a piano and violin recital.
