Empathy Social Responsibility and Education Association hosted a style talk with Vogue at the ‘Welcome Spring’ breakfast gathering where Beymen’s new season trends were presented. Income raised from the breakfast will be used to meet the needs of Vehbi Dinçerler Science High School students.
Many distinguished guests from Gaziantep society attended the breakfast at Gaziantep Grand Hotel. Vogue Editor in Chief Seda Domaniç and Vogue Fashion Director Konca Aykan gave a talk on new season fashion trends of Beymen followed by a Q&A session.
Konukoğlu: “As the new administration, we shall raise the bar even higher.”
In her speech, Empathy Social Responsibility and Education Association Chairwoman Zeynep Konukoğlu emphasized that they have always felt the support from their members in their social responsibility projects since their foundation and said, “We found the opportunity to realize our dream with the power bestowed upon us by you.” Reminding that they built Empathy Primary School with 24 classrooms in the city center with more than 800 students, Konukoğlu said: “Our efforts to establish new education centers and to support our existing schools continue. Being here today, we hope to contribute to the needs of our children studying at Vehbi Dinçerler Science High School.”
Thanking her predecessor, former Chairwoman Pınar Topçuoğlu and all the members of the administration for their successful work, Zeynep Konukoğlu said, “I would like you to know that as the new administration, we will always raise the bar higher and further.”
Congratulating the new Board Members, Pınar Topçuoğlu said in her speech, “Empathy is the apple of our eye. We have come to these days with the efforts of all our association friends and founding members. I am sure that the new team will be much more successful and the association will be even better placed to put their resources, time and energy into educational projects.”
Spring-Summer Fashion
Presenting the featuring trends in spring and summer collections this year, Vogue Editor in Chief Seda Domaniç stated that there is a difference between fashion and being stylish and those who know themselves well carry the clothes better. “Wear the clothes, do not let the clothes wear you. The clothes should not get in the way of your personality,” Domaniç said and drew attention to the importance of making the right combination.
Stating that trends change every season, Fashion Director Konca Aykan said that floral trends and prints are in fashion and jeans are used daily in this year’s collection dominated by colors compatible with nature and pastel tones.
